Membership policies

• Court Rental Cost: A court rental fee is required in addition to your membership fee.

Court rental rates Fees:

1. Court Rental per Hour for Members (Singles and Doubles):

   • Total for All Players: $40

2. Non-Members:

   • Court Rental per Hour (Singles and Doubles): $60
   • Junior Non-Members: $40

3. Junior Members:

   • Court Rental per Hour (Singles and Doubles): $25

• Renewal Policy: Membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Members can renew their membership at the end of each year. A grace period of two weeks will be allowed for membership renewal after the expiry date, after which the membership will be considered lapsed.

• Cancellation Policy: Membership cancellations are allowed within 10 days of the purchase date. Refunds will be provided in full, minus a 10% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 30 days.

• Benefits: Members will have access to exclusive benefits such as priority booking of courts, discounted rates for court rentals, events, and access to member-only events and promotions.

• Code of Conduct: All members are expected to adhere to the club's code of conduct, which includes respecting other members, staff, and property, maintaining the cleanliness of the courts, and following all club policies and rules.

• Footwear Policy: Outdoor footwear is not allowed on the court. All players must bring a change of tennis shoes to play on the court.

• Food and Drink Policy: No food or opened container drinks are allowed on the court.

• Court Booking Cancellation Policy:

  Court booking cancellations must be requested a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled booking time. In the event of cancellations made within the 48-hour window, the following penalties will be enforced:

  • First Time: A warning will be issued, and a refund will be processed.
  • Second Time: 50% of the court fee will be forfeited.
  • Third Time and Subsequent Occurrences: The full court fee will be deducted, or the remaining balance will be owed by the player.

We appreciate your adherence to our cancellation policy, which ensures a fair and efficient court reservation system for all our valued players. 

• Please note that court fees and cancellation penalties are subject to cheange every year. It is the responsibility of the members to stay updated on any changes made to the policy.

• Currency: All prices listed on the Headstart tennis club website are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

• Accepted Card Types: The following card types are accepted for payment at Headstart tennis club: Visa, MasterCard, Interac, and Discover cards
